Being a mentor is a rewarding, life changing experience, and there are hundreds of kids that are ready to be matched today. We are so excited that you are considering our program. Thank you!
There are a few requirements up front. You must:
- 18 years old.
- Finished with High School.
- Able to commit to being matched with a child for a minimum of 1 year.
- Able to meet a minimum of 1 time per month with your Little Brother or Little Sister.
- Not anticipating any major life changes in the next 6 months.
- Willing to consent to being background checked, although a criminal history does not prohibit participation in all cases
- Willing to provide a copy of your driver’s license and insurance
The first 3 steps to becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister are to:
- Complete an application
- Sign up for an orientation
- Sign up for training
